Matured in a 2nd Fill 50 year old Australian Port Barrel Bottled at 45% ABV 500ml

We've used a mash bill comprising of approx. 30% heavily peated malt, adding depth of character and flavour as opposed to a smoke bomb. 

This Whisky is very special to me, as it is one that I have brewed on my pilot 70L brew kit that I made. Several hundred litres of wash was made to produce enough to run through the pot still to gain wash for the spirit. Weeks of work, Years of waiting,  down to this. 

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Dark Straw
Nose: Coconut, Vanilla, Citrus, Stone Fruit, Oak, Chocolate, Petrichor, Earthy, Smoke.
Palate: Luscious texture, very smooth. Chocolate, Vanilla, Malt, Stone Fruit, Christmas Cake, Oak, Some Tannin, but not drying, Smokey undertone.
